The woven upper of this innovative running shoe is made using Chamatex's ground-breaking Matryx\u00ae textile technology, developed for high performance footwear. The cutting-edge technology utilises coated, high-tenacity polyamide yarns reinforced with Kevlar threads to aid strength, stability and support. The result is a unique upper that is both durable and lightweight, keeping feet securely in place on steep and fast descents. The Xplor Pro Matryx also features Vittoria's technology used in world championship gravel racing. This innovative design, inspired by the Terreno Dry and Terreno Mix tyre patterns, offers exceptional traction and durability on any terrain thanks to its fish-scale edges and progressive siping, and is optimised for maximum speed where the tarmac ends. For a smoother and more comfortable experience, the midsole is made from a softer version of our springy and responsive Px Foam\u2122. <\/p>\n
Xx Foam\u2122
\nPx Foam\u2122 is an ultra-lightweight midsole material characterised by excellent energy return, shock absorption and flexibility. This innovative material is made with a single, natural foaming agent and contains no chemical cross-linking agents, ensuring a non-toxic process. In addition, raw and finished materials are fully recyclable. The high-performance foam has an extremely low density, making it up to 20 % lighter than conventional EVA. The reduced weight combined with the explosive rebound makes Px Foam\u2122 perfect for any run.<\/p>\n
Vittoria outsole inspired by Terreno
\nThis unique outsole was produced in collaboration with world-class bicycle tyre manufacturer Vittoria and features fish-scale edges and progressive sipes inspired by the Terreno Dry and Terreno Mix tyre patterns. The result is a sole that is optimised for maximum speed outside the urban landscape and offers exceptional traction and durability on any terrain.<\/p>\n
